Get into the app

This page is for volunteers and group leaders. It takes a couple of minutes.

If you got an email

1. Open the email called "Set up your [church] volunteer app" on your phone.
2. Tap Set up my app.
3. Pick a password (at least 8 characters) and tap Create my login.
4. Follow the steps to add the app to your home screen (below).

Already have a Ministry Toolkit login because you're on staff? Enter your usual password and tap Continue.

The link works once. If it says it's already been used, just sign in with your password.

If your church showed a QR code or link

1. Scan the code with your phone's camera, or open the link.
2. Enter the email your church has for you and tap Continue.
3. Confirm it's you with the last 4 digits of your phone number. Tap Use my birthday instead if that's easier.
4. Pick a password and tap Create my account.
5. Add the app to your home screen (below).

If it says "That doesn't match what [church] has on file for you", your church may have a different email or phone number for you. Ask your ministry staff to check.

If it says "Check your email", your church approves new sign-ups first. You'll get an email once they do.

Add it to your home screen

The app works best from your home screen, and that's the only place notifications work on an iPhone.

iPhone (Safari):

1. Tap the Share button (on newer iPhones, tap the three dots next to the address bar first).
2. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
3. Open Ministry Toolkit from your home screen.

Android (Chrome):

1. Tap the three dot menu at the top right.
2. Tap Install or Add to Home screen.
3. Open Ministry Toolkit from your home screen.

Opened the link from Gmail, Facebook or another app? Open it in Safari or Chrome first. The app shows a Copy the link button to help.

Then sign in once more from the home screen app. Signing in inside the browser doesn't carry over.

Sign in

Open the app, enter your email and password and tap Sign in.

Forgot your password

1. On the sign-in screen, tap Forgotten your password?
2. Enter your email and tap Send the link.
3. Open the email and tap the link.
4. Pick a new password and tap Save it.

Turn on notifications

The first time you open the app from your home screen, it asks to turn on notifications. Tap Continue, then Allow. See Notifications.
