Serve app
Serve is the phone app for your volunteers and group leaders. On their phone it's called Ministry Toolkit. It installs from a link, so there's nothing to download from an app store.
What's in it
| Tab | What it's for | Who sees it |
|---|---|---|
| Home | This week at a glance: roll call, the lesson, new posts, events, birthdays and a to-do list | Everyone |
| Group | Their group's roster, contacts and attendance | Group leaders |
| Care | Students who could use a text | Group leaders |
| Posts | News and announcements from your ministry | Everyone |
| Events | Upcoming events and RSVPs | Everyone |
| Me | Profile, badges, training and notification settings | Everyone |
Tabs a person has no use for don't show. Someone who doesn't lead a group won't see Group or Care.
Who can use it
A person can sign in when:
- their email in your church directory matches the email they sign in with, and
- they're an active volunteer in the Volunteers tool (or onboarding and nearly finished), or they're on staff.
Leading a group in CCB isn't enough on its own. Group leaders need to be active volunteers too.
To see a group, a leader needs to be its main leader or co-leader, or be placed in a Volunteers position linked to the group.
